Our two headliner speakers will be Francis X. Degen, EA, USTCP (Bio) and Jane Ryder, EA CPA (Bio), who will conduct 15 continuing educational units.  Topics includes:

Francis X Degen, EA USTCP:

  • Questions from the Field Volume Two (2 Hours)
  • What is Gross Income? (2 Hours)
  • A Walk Through Subtitle F (2 Hours)
  • Last Quarter Update (1 hour)

Jane Ryder, EA CPA:

  • Introduction to Partnerships (1 Hour)
  • Advanced Partnerships (2 Hours)
  • Partnerships & LLC's, Dissolutions and Closing Balance Sheets (2 Hours)
  • Tax Matters for Lawsuits and Legal Settlements (1 Hour)
  • Ethics for Tax:  Circular 230 & Helping Clients with Expenses (2 Hours Ethics)

In addition,  Mike Kaufmann (bio) will present a non-CE eligible hour on Oklahoma Tax Updates.  In Lieu of attendance by the IRS Stakeholder Liaison, a panel discussion will be presented on multiple tax topics for a CE eligible hour

Due to the ongoing government shutdown, the Taxpayer Advocate Service will not be available this year.

Lunch is provided both days to on-site attendees.  Attendees will be provided the link to attend one week before the event.
