OSEA Central Oklahoma Chapter Event - Join us at Saltgrass Steak House, 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 19, 2025

Join us at 11:30 a.m. at Saltgrass Steak House at I-240 and Penn for lunch and a Central Oklahoma Chapter IRS continuing education event. The fee for the event is $25, to cover the cost of the meal and soft drink.

John M. Perry III, EA, USTCP, will provide a one hour CE presentation starting at 12:00 noon on "Foreign Tax Credit for Individuals."

In this 1 hour CE event, we will compare and contrast the foreign tax credit and the foreign earned income exclusion, the credit versus a deduction for foreign taxes, and claiming a credit for taxes paid versus accrued. We will also examine what taxpayers are eligible for the credit, what taxes are eligible for the credit, the different buckets for types of taxes, limitations on the foreign tax credit, and more.

1 CE Hour -- Federal Tax Law.

Cost is $25 per person attending, which will cover the meal and soft drink.
